Improving Pavement Deflection Bowl Predictions from TSD Measured Responses to Load

Project Overview

WARRIP is always looking for ways to improve on existing processes. Deflection bowls achieved by the Traffic Speed Deflectometer (TSD) could potentially improve with laser placement as well as additional lasers optimised for an increased range of measurement. Deflection bowl data helps asset management teams predict required maintenance, so improving the data will result in more reliable planning.
