Even though crumbed rubber modified bitumen (CRMB) has been identified for use in sprayed seals for local roads. Local Governments in WA would benefit from guidance on design, specification and construction, targeted for applications in WA in order to build confidence in this application. This project will provide the tools to increase confidence for road managers to obtain approvals and specify these products. As this process is well researched and has been successfully implemented by road authorities in Australia and worldwide, this project will be able to leverage that knowledge to create a LG TRRIP practitioner’s guideline for the WA context.
