WA Local Government practitioner’s guideline for the use of CRMB and RAP in asphalt applications

Project Overview

The use of crumbed rubber modified bitumen (CRMB) and reclaimed asphalt pavement (RAP) in asphalt have been identified as appropriate applications for local roads. These applications are well researched and have been successfully implemented by road authorities in Australia and worldwide. To increase the uptake on local roads, Local Governments in WA will benefit from guidance on design, specification and construction, targeted for applications in WA. This LG TRRIP project will provide the tools to increase confidence for road managers to obtain approvals and specify these products.
