Pedestrian Crossing Facilities at Multilane Roundabouts

Project Overview

The objective of this project is to develop a weaving analysis method in order for Main Roads Western Australia and other jurisdictions to assess capacity constraints due to vehicles weaving on Freeways. This method will be based on maximum sustainable flow rates (MSFR) as opposed to previous methods based on Highway Capacity Manual (HCM) methodology.
