Next Generation Operations: Asset Management Efficiency

Project Overview

Staff shortages during the recent pandemic and experienced staff turnover have highlighted the need to leverage new technologies in asset management to ensure new staff are easily onboarded and trained on systems. WARRIP is working to identify enhancements and recommend solution to ensure optimal and effective asset management practices across all the regions.

The stage 2 of this project is focusing on improving the efficiency and safety during asset inspections, specifically those undertaken manually. Opportunities for machine leaning solutions, automated and semi-automated processes will be reviewed. In parallel project teams will be looking for opportunities to improve the safety and efficiency of depot operations.
