Low Carbon Concrete Technologies – State of Readiness

Project Overview

This project provides a high-level assessment of current and emerging low carbon concrete technologies for use in Western Australian transport infrastructure. It focuses on understanding their potential to reduce whole-of-life carbon emissions, while considering performance, durability and implementation risks.
The project aims to develop a practical guideline outlining the state of readiness of key technologies and identifying opportunities and gaps for future development. The outcomes should support informed, consistent decision-making and contribute to a coordinated approach to decarbonising concrete across the WA road network.
