Guideline to Bitumen Stabilisation Design in Western Australia

Project Overview

This project will work towards developing a Western Australia–focused guideline for the design of bitumen stabilised pavements. Building on existing research and case study performance, the project will establish clear selection, mix design and structural design approaches for stabilisation treatments.

By improving design reliability and decision-making, the project aims to optimise pavement performance, reduce variability in practice, and deliver value-for-money outcomes for the transport network.
