Evaluation and Characterisation of Nanosilica-Modified Asphalt Materials
Project Overview
Nanotechnology is a new innovative approach in science and engineering. This approach is where nano-sized particles can be developed and utilised to create or manipulate the properties of materials. In pavements we hope to find self-sensing pavements, luminescent pavements, air purifying pavement and perpetual pavements with increased durability. Understanding how far this technology has progressed is the first step in finding nano-technologies that could be applied to WA roads.
